QuickBooks Online

Levelrow opens in your Shopify admin.

Levelrow is a Shopify app: it reads your Shopify Payments payouts and writes one journal entry per payout into your QuickBooks company. Everything — connecting QuickBooks, reconnecting it, disconnecting it — happens on Levelrow's own pages inside that admin, so open the app there rather than from QuickBooks.

Open Levelrow

  1. Sign in to your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to Apps and choose Levelrow.
  3. Levelrow opens on Payouts, or on setup while QuickBooks is not connected yet.

Connect or reconnect QuickBooks

  1. Open Levelrow in your Shopify admin.
  2. Choose Connect QuickBooks Online on setup, or Reconnect QuickBooks on Payouts if the connection ended.
  3. Sign in at Intuit and pick the QuickBooks company that keeps this store's books. Levelrow needs a US company whose home currency is USD; a multi-currency company is refused and the page says so.
  4. You return to Levelrow. After a reconnect the payouts that waited post themselves, oldest first, with no duplicates.

Disconnect QuickBooks

  1. Open Levelrow in your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to Settings and choose Disconnect.
  3. Levelrow stops posting and removes its access token. Everything already posted stays in QuickBooks, and your account map and payout history stay in Levelrow until you delete them.

You can also disconnect from the QuickBooks side, under Apps in your QuickBooks company. Levelrow then shows the connection as ended and keeps reading payouts until you connect again.
